Punjabi is the language spoken by the Punjabi ethnicity native to Pakistan 🇵🇰 and India 🇮🇳.

Most Punjabis in Pakistan are Muslim, and most Punjabis in India are Sikh or Hindu. This is because of 1947 Partition, when the state Punjab got split between India and the new country Pakistan.
